POETRY

Crumbled

I’ve found that precious way

Into your fortress -

I wander your corridors,

Your unfurnished rooms, I open

The blinds on the windows

It won’t be long now

Before I find you lying

On the floor of your bedroom,

And how can I convince you

That there is nowhere

You can hide

To escape yourself

So that,

When your walls crumble

We can laugh,

And scatter the pieces

Together
